King of the Grassland
This beautiful Black-tailed Godwit is painted by COLLIN VAN DER SLUIJS for GREENPEACE NEDERLAND and STRAAT MUSEUM for their 50th anniversary Greenpeace asked artists from around the globe to create a work that symbolizes hope and action for a better future. The numbers of our National bird are getting more problematic every year and since the early nineties the population has gone from 250.000 to around 50,000 now. – Bart Hagel
